Both lodges are located in Piraí, Vargem Alta, Espírito Santo, in the Suíça Capixaba region, known for its mild climate and mountain scenery. Our cabins are located in easily accessible areas, close to the city center, markets, pharmacies, gas stations, and restaurants. They are just minutes from tourist attractions such as waterfalls, trails, viewpoints, and state parks.

What's the access road like?
We're 8 km from the city center, 1.5 km of which is a very good dirt road. Motorcycles, low-lying cars, motorhomes (vans), and any type of vehicle, even on rainy days, can access our cabins.
Are there more chalets on the property?
The properties have only one chalet each, so the cabins are unique. The Wooden Chalet has close neighbors, and the Swiss Refuge is more secluded and has no neighbors.
How do meals work?
We leave a picnic basket with breakfast items and consumables in the minibar. These items are complimentary and included in your stay. We provide a picnic blanket with the basket for your experience. We don't serve other meals, but you can bring and prepare whatever you like in the chalet's kitchen. There are restaurants nearby; check out the "Suíça Capixaba" section on the website to learn more.
Can I have a photoshoot?
Yes, we can rent or arrange photoshoots. You can bring your own photographer and maid (bride and groom). Please contact us with your request to confirm further details.
Can I bring pets?
No, our cabins are not designed to accommodate pets. Bringing or receiving pets will result in immediate cancellation of your reservation.
What are the check-in times and how does it work?
Daily check-in starts at 2 p.m. and ends the following day at 12 p.m. We offer some extended check-in options for earlier check-ins and later check-outs. Please inquire. From the start of the check-in period, check-in can be done at any time, even in the early hours of the morning. We offer a self-check-in method, where guests check into the cabin themselves, without needing to hand over keys or visit the reception desk.
Are the cabins accessible?
No, our cabins are not designed to accommodate people with disabilities. There are stairs, decks, and other structures that pose a risk.
What's the security like?
The cabins have surveillance cameras outside, and the community is very peaceful and family-friendly, with no violence.
What is the payment method?
To confirm your reservation via PIX, we require a 50% deposit of the total amount. The remaining balance will be requested 1 day before check-in. For payments by credit card, we require a 100% deposit of the total amount plus fees. If you choose this option, please let us know the number of installments you wish to pay (up to 12 installments) and we'll send you the payment link.
Can I bring an extra guest/have a visitor?
Cabins have a maximum capacity of 2 people, and bringing or having a visitor will result in immediate cancellation of the reservation.
What if I want to cancel my reservation?
Reservations made less than 48 hours in advance (or on the day of check-in) are non-refundable. Full cancellation is free up to 48 hours after purchase. If payment was made by card, card machine fees are not refundable. After the above deadline, a credit note will be issued for the amount paid, initially valid for 4 months, renewable in case of unforeseen circumstances. Date changes must be requested up to 3 days before check-in (subject to availability and the difference in price on the new date). Early check-out or no-shows will be charged 100% of the total stay.
How do international reservations work?
If you're a guest from another country, please contact us via website chat, email reservasvargemalta@gmail.com, or WhatsApp +5528999929018. The reservation amount will be settled with a 50% deposit upon confirmation, and the remaining balance due 7 days before check-in. Payments via the platform will be split; we'll cover the first payment, and the guest will cover the second. See our packages for long-term stays.
What do I need to do to confirm my reservation?
For direct reservations, via phone, WhatsApp, or email, we request proof of payment, photo ID and CPF of the person responsible for the stay and the accompanying person, license plate and model of the vehicle that will enter the property, and the estimated arrival time. Entry to the property will only be authorized after this information has been submitted.
